HTML5 Apps are viewable on any smart phone device. They are in effect a mobile website, but presented similar to a mobile app. However, not to be confused with a mobile responsive website which is a traditional website optimised for mobile viewing.
However one draw back to them is they cannot access your device’s native functionality such as the camera, GPS directions, voice recording etc.
A mobile website is written in HTML5 code, that is specifically designed to be mobile friendly. In fact, if you don’t have a mobile responsive website, you can embed the HTML5 code into your main website, and if anyone visits your website, it will show the app version which is far more friendlier to use.

(I’m embarrassed to ask, but what’s an “app?”)
Once upon a time, a mobile phone just made calls. Now, only the most basic mobile phones are call-only. Instead, modern smartphones are powerful mini-computers that can run programs called “apps.”
When your business publishes an app, customers can download it to their smartphone and interact with your business ‘on the go’. They can perform whatever functions you choose, from simple things to looking up your phone number, location, or upcoming events, to more complicated things like submitting orders or sending a message to a customer service rep.
You can harness the unique ability of sending push notifications, which are 10x more effective than emails.
A mobile app can increase sales, customer loyalty and retention, operational efficiency, social media engagement and can have many other benefits. The opportunities created by apps for small businesses and organisations are valuable and extraordinarily cost-effective in terms of marketing.
In addition, mobile technology is growing very quickly, and is already overtaking desktop computing in many places. If you want to connect with your customers, mobile is fast-becoming the most popular media channel available. Let’s looks at some of the commercial and organisational benefits:
They increase revenue and user participation. By making it easy for users to contact your business, visit your location, hear about promotions or events, and provide referrals, you can increase your revenue and user engagement. As apps are easily accessible your customers can do any of these things from any location.
Online orders have had a 25% up-take! Mobile users tend to submit orders more frequently.
Mobile coupons are redeemed at 4X the rate against printed coupons.
70% of people contact a business after a mobile search, but almost half will head to a competing site if the mobile experience is poor.
They increase customer satisfaction. Mobile apps, especially those that include loyalty programs, keep customers happy, which increases customer retention and referral rates.
Loyalty programs can increase sales by 20% or more!
They increase social media engagement. By making it easy to post news about your business or organisation to social media platforms, you make it more likely that a customer will interact. This can turn customers into brand promoters and help boost revenue.
Push notifications have led to a 30% increase in social media engagement.
They help you compete and provide easy information. Customers now expect mobile interaction from any business. By offering an app or mobile website, you can get ahead of competitors that do not.
20% of quick-service restaurants already have online ordering, and the number is climbing. Don’t get left behind!
They increase operational efficiency. For businesses: By allowing customers to submit orders or customer service requests through your app, you can cut down on phone time for your team members and streamline operations.
Some restaurants are now getting a third of online reservations from mobile users.
For organisations: You can place newsletters on the app and become paperless which will save you money, encourage app usage as well as help the environment.
They increase brand loyalty. Having a direct and regular connection channel to customers deepens the bonds between them and your business, boosting loyalty.
In short, mobile technology is surprisingly powerful and can generate a wealth of opportunities for businesses and organisations.
However, if you already have an online store you can integrate your existing online store or food ordering system within the app and still take advantage of having a mobile app, as outlined.
Your existing website pages can be incorporated into the app or duplicate any web information page into a specific tab.
Note: We do not offer apps purely based on you website without any interactive features that fail to utilise a devices native functionality, as it will be rejected by Apple and delivers a poor user experience. It may also be determined by Apple as a marketing app, which violates their rules.
Executive Plan – The App Office will build and fully manage your app. Basically, it’s almost everything from design to taking care of publication. Don’t worry about updating your app, we will take your instructions and update it to your requirements and even create coupons and promotions. However, we will train you on how to do promotions in case you have to promote something in an instant. You are assigned a project manager with full support.
In both plans, considerable time and effort is used to produce a well designed sleek app with many revisions, however compared to most companies, we have priced our builds at the most lowest price possible.
